LAAX is the resort where visions are created – and realized. LAAX has been hosting world-class freestyle events such as the LAAX OPEN for three decades and has a wealth of background, expertise and passion for the sport and its riders. The LAAX OPEN is a unique event, a FIS Snowboard & Freeski World Cup with stars & rising stars, talks & movies, live music & DJ sets and with world champions, Olympic champions and fans on one and two boards.
ARRIVAL
Public transport
LAAX can be reached in 1.5 hours by train and bus from Zurich.
- Take the train from Zurich to Chur
- Change to Postbus line 81 in Chur and travel to Laax, Riders Club, Via Murschetg. Check your connection here.
Car
There are two large parking garages in Laax and Flims, from where you can access the slopes directly. There is a lot going on during the LAAX OPEN days.
You can book your parking space online from October 2025 and arrive comfortably in January.

Programme
Get ready – the programme for LAAX OPEN 2026 has been published. The event starts on Wednesday, 14 January with various training sessions and ends on Sunday, 18 January with the women’s and men’s slopestyle snowboard finals. In addition to the contest, there will be lots of talks and films, live music and DJ acts, parties and other events for you to enjoy.

Experience first-class freestyle action combined with a wide range of village activities, varied live concerts and exuberant after-parties. To experience the LAAX OPEN presented by Zalando around the mountain station at Crap Sogn Gion, a valid lift ticket for the ride up to Crap Sogn Gion is required.
Nachtfinal
The Snowboard Halfpipe Night Final is the spectacular highlight of the LAAX OPEN and starts on Saturday, 17 January 2026 at 5:30 p.m. The event is free for guests. All you need is a valid lift ticket to take the cable car up to Crap Sogn Gion.
